A little while ago I wrote a post about having my eyebrows done by Billion Dollar brows and it completely changed the way they looked! I was lucky enough to win a competition for a pair of their tweezers which came the other day. They look really good and come in a clear case which means they wont get dirty in my make up bag.
I have never found a pair of tweezers that really work but these have completely changed that. They are very easy to use and grab every hair so keeping my eyebrows neat is really easy. Even the colour of them is better than my other ones! I would really recommend these if you pluck your eyebrows, it means I can keep the shape of the brows done in the salon from home! I might even have to go and treat myself when I go home for my birthday and have them done again!

7. Cook a meal for someone
I may have slightly cheated on this one too...This week me and my flatmate have put together our stuff to make 2 (probably on the large side!) meals. They also both happened to be things I haven't been eating much of recently as my crohns belly doesn't seem to like them but I have surprised myself with how well I've been feeling! The first meal was a curry and the second was a spaghetti bolognese. The best part about these meals is we managed to use up things that needed to be used such as the mince which had been in the freezer for a very long time... Definitely be doing this much more!
3. See Django
This week has been a very busy one and despite me worrying about it going slow because I'm excited for my Birthday it has sped by! I was working yesterday and started to think about my 20 before 20 list and realised there is still so much to do! Luckily I managed to do 2 things last night, cook someone a meal (which I will write about in another post!) and see Django! My flatmate was invited out to go see it with some of her friends so I decided to go with them and make the most of my free tickets at Odeon while I can. It was such a good film and the soundtrack was amazing, I would recommend! It makes a change from the usual Friday night of going out and spending too much money!

13. Buy a whole outfit from a charity shop
Okay so maybe I have slightly cheated with this one... some of the items I did already own but I didn't really need any new shorts or skirts so I stuck with what I already had! Everything I'm wearing (apart from shoes, I have never found a good pair!) is from a charity shop.As you can see I am wearing the top and jumper from the other day which I'm really happy with. The top looks really cute without the jumper on and would be easy to dress up or down. The shorts were bought awhile ago, they were originally a pair of next jeans which I cut the legs off and then frayed. I then got some studs off eBay and studded one side of the shorts. They have become my favourite pair and people always ask where I got them and are surprised when I say I made them myself! The coat was from one of my favourite charity shops at home which is rammed with bric a brac, I think this cost me £3.00 and It goes with everything. The tartan scarf is good to brighten up a plain outfit with a flash of colour! Even my bag which was originally from River Island was from a charity shop and is the perfect size to fit all my things in for Uni. Overall the whole outfit only cost me around £20, pretty impressive I think! I apologise for the awful pictures!

Health and Well-being
Last Friday I had a meeting scheduled with the health and well-being officer at Uni. I was abit nervous as I hadn't been feeling too good and wasn't particually in the mood to talk about crohns. However I was really pleasantly surprised with how well it went and how kind she was. I didn't feel bad for having to take time off from my studies and she was really helpful with thinking of things that would prepare me for if I have a really bad day. Although at the moment I seem to be okay things could go downhill quickly and I dont want Uni to suffer because of that. She also helped me apply for 2 different types of funding which was alot simpler than I thought it would be. I now need to wait up to 4 weeks to hear back and then go for an assessment which how much help they think I need. I'm really excited to get the news and know that my final year at Coventry will be made a little bit easier if I don't need to worry about certain things.
I also spoke to her about my job and she made me realise that it probably isnt worth the money if it is going to make me more stressed and therefore ill. Hopefully I will be able to get some funding which will mean I don't need to worry as much. I decided on Saturday to hand in my notice at work which means I have 4 weeks left, although one of those weeks is my birthday and next hospital appointment which I am lucky enough to have off. I am so grateful to Odeon for holding onto the job for me and I am glad I made an attempt at going back to work but I think it is simply a case of too much too soon!

Presentation Stress
As part of the live event module on my course we have had to put on an event for Marie Curie. We originally planned to do a pamper night but after little contact with the venue we had to change the whole idea at the last minute- stressful! I might have mentioned before that stress is a big factor with crohns and its important to keep it to a minimum. As well as changing the whole idea we also had to do a presentation on Thursday which was scary! I felt so nervous before that it started to hurt my tummy but after it was done I felt fine again. The presentation went really well and I don't know why I was so worried. It has proven to me that I can do things that I don't think I can do and if I can believe in myself a little bit more I won't get as stressed.
Today we got the results back and our group got a 1st so we must be doing something right!
